Late Payments

Late payments and Late registrations

It is not the policy of the ESFRS to charge a late registration fee for new students. New students will be accepted on an ongoing basis throughout the year, space permitting, and fees will be prorated based on the number of lessons remaining in the year.

However, the lesson observations must be completed before lessons can begin. If you anticipate a delay in completing the lesson observations, do not send in the full tuition fee. Wait until after your observations are complete, and consult our Registrar or Music Director to pro-rate the fee over the remaining lessons. Otherwise, you may end up missing lessons that have been paid for.  Registration is not complete until the observations are done, and  teachers cannot hold a lesson time open for a student until the registration is complete and all payments have been received.

Returning students will be charged a late registration fee if they do not return their COMPLETED pre-registration forms by the posted deadline.

NSF cheques will be treated as late payments, and will be charged the late registration fee PLUS any additional bank charges.

If a family is experiencing  financial issues that could possibly result in NSF cheques or other payment problems, please notify the Registrar or the Music Program Director as soon as you are aware of the situation. Deferred payment or payment adjustments can be arranged if advance notice is received. If arrangements are not made in advance, the student family is responsible for all payments including extra bank charges.
